Feb 29, also known as Leap Day is an added day that shows up on your calendar every four years. The next Leap year is 2016. You might be wondering, what is leap year and leap day, and why do we keep adding a day every four years?
We use clocks and calendars to track time in the universe but technically, Earth doesn’t rotate around the sun in exactly 365 days — it actually takes about 365.25 days. Since we always have an extra quarter day each year, we choose to add an extra day in every four years to make up for it!
So what did you do with your extra day? We worked and then took team photos! As soon as we get the photos back, well post them up.
